Overall this is a terrific mouse and that i would give it all 5 stars if I can, but the downside is that it costs too much for a mouse.įirst of all, everyone that is whining about MAC Compatibility needs to pay attention and purchase the correct product.
#Mad catz rat 7 mouse driver how to
If you are still confused on how to do so then go on youtube or a website that can teach you how.

There are instructions to show you how the mouse works and how to customize it. There are weights located on the bottom of the mouse where you can take them off, to make the mouse lighter. People say that this mouse is to heavy and that they wasted money and time on this mouse, but they are wrong. Don't put it into a laptop bag that has little room, because it can crush the mouse. The wings may break of because you put to much pressure onto it. The wings on this mouse aren't thin and brittle as some may say, but it is rather sturdy to me. It maybe harder to find, but it is out there.

If u have a mac don't get this model they sell other models that are specified for the macbook. Ok now for the haters that think this mouse is a wreck. You can program buttons on the mouse for specified purposes. You can extend or shorten the length of the mouse to fit your hand. I tend to play FPS games and it is great you can decrease your sensitivity with a push of a button. I've been having this mouse for about a month and it is a phenom mouse for gaming. If you just like the looks of the mouse ill recommend you to just get the R.A.T 3 that is only $50. If you tend to not use this for gaming then u just wasted $100. This mouse is for gamers only, and i stress the word only because of the programmable features that this mouse has. The bottom line is you may hate the feel of this mouse but i think most people should be able to change the parts and their positions to make comfortable enough. The extra buttons on the mouse are really nice, for playing games, i dont play allot of games but when i have nothing better to do ill play call of duty or league of legends and the mouse makes it easier with the extra buttons i can assign to do different actions in the games.įor general use it works fine too but i doubt many people are going to buy this if they are not playing games at least every now and again. There is a switch to adjust the speed of the mouse on the mouse, i found it was either to fast or to slow, so i put it between the to slow setting and the to fast setting and finally just started using the setting that was to fast, but i got used to it after about a hour of playing a game and started to like the mouse. So i brought it home, and hated it, my hand hurt from using it and what not, after changing around the different attachments the mouse comes with and changing the position of things on the mouse i can live with it ( you can change the position of several things on this mouse to try to make it fit your hand), its kind of wide and i have small hands so i think that was my problem with it, i still thiink its a bit awkward feeling but after about a hour of messing around with the different pieces you can interchange and the positioning of the pieces i am starting to like the mouse and its not feeling so bad in my hand any more, but no way near as comfy in my hand as my old mouse.
